Anu Ochre’s hard work in an IRIAM event has earned her a spot to be featured in Akihabara, the tech and anime district of Tokyo. It was definitely not an easy feat to be able to appear in this busy area where many tourists and locals alike pass through everyday but she was able to gain her spot thanks to her hard work and her followers.
I was finally able to take a look at it for myself during Obon (a 3 day holiday). Of course, I had always planned to go take a look and take pictures of the ad in person because there was no way that I would miss the opportunity to see it but I was met with quite a surprise when I heard that Anu herself would be in town! That’s right! She has flown in from the US to see the fruits of her labor. However, due to scheduling, I wasn’t able to meet up with Anu to see the ad together. Luckily, I was able to catch up with her after. I never thought that I would ever be able to meet any of my talents in person.
We met up in another city and shopped together before we had to part ways. I’m so happy and so proud to be able to see Anu (her model and her!) in Japan. Congratulations again Anu!
The ad will run until the end of August 2025 outside the gates of Metro Akihabara (Hibiya line) Station.
アヌ・オークルのIRIAMイベントでの努力が実り、東京のテクノロジーとアニメの中心地、秋葉原で広告が掲示されることになりました。多くの観光客や地元の人々が毎日行き交うこの賑やかなエリアで広告を出すのは決して簡単なことではありませんでしたが、彼女の努力とファンのサポートのおかげでその機会を手にしました。
お盆（3日間の祝日）の間に、ようやくその広告を自分の目で見に行くことができました。もちろん、広告を直接見て写真に収めるつもりでいましたし、この機会を逃すつもりはありませんでした。しかし、驚くことに、アヌ本人が現地に来ていると聞きました！そうです、彼女は自分の努力の成果を見るためにアメリカから飛んできたのです。残念ながら、スケジュールの都合でアヌと一緒に広告を見に行くことはできませんでしたが、後に彼女と会うことができました。自分が応援しているタレントに実際会えるなんて、夢にも思いませんでした。
私たちは別の都市で合流し、一緒にショッピングを楽しみました。そして、別れの時が来ました。アヌ（彼女のモデルと本人！）を日本で見ることができて、本当に幸せで誇りに思います。アヌ、おめでとう！
広告は2025年8月末まで、秋葉原駅（日比谷線）の改札外で掲示されています。
